Greetings - Thanks for the kind words Tom. I wish that I had some of the "before" pictures handy of this amp, it had undergone a catastrophic meltdown (underneath) at one time. I bought it from the PWK (Klipsch) museum a couple of years ago on Fleabay. The amp looked pretty good in the auction pictures, but when I opened it up, wow, there was a one inch hole burned through the center of the phenolic tagboard, and half of the resistors were cracked and scorched. I was lucky to find a similar size and shape phenolic board, repopulated it with all NOS carbon comps, and the amp was singing again (but with a slight hum). I then replaced the four electrolytic can capacitors with what you see now, 40uf and 50 uf oil caps mounted on aluminum plates and standoffs. I also added that small Low H, low DCR, choke in the front, a spot that was reserved for an input transformer. I also mounted a second Low H, low DCR, choke underneath as well, so now the power supply is L.C.L.C instead of R.C, really lowered the noise floor as well as got rid of the hummmmm. Replaced the old coupling caps with Russian K40Y9s also. Thanks again, regards, Paul
