You can get an adapter and use the 6C8G - it's essentially a 6SL7 with less gain, but the pin out is different and it has a grid cap, so you need adapters (which you can buy on eBay - the same that will adapt a 6F8G for use as a 6SN7 will work).
Has the advantage of sounding fantastic and being cheap as dirt, too :)
