I think tube testers are both useful and important if you are going to buy used tubes. BUT - you already have all the tube tester you will ever need for that purpose in your TV-7. So unless you are into tube testers in and of their own (which is fine - they are cool) you don't need another tester for what you can learn from them about tubes you buy.
