I do think they basically have the same sonic signatures of their 6SN7 counterparts, but perhaps even sound slightly (very slightly) better in terms of having a little better soundstage.

I do like the TS RP 6F8G's a lot. There is a guy who sells "Radiocoin" 6F8G's with some frequency that are TS RP's. And you can also try emailing eBay seller BuenosAiresRadio and ask him so sell you some TS's - I'm pretty sure he has them.
