This is where I think the 6F8G is better than an equivalent 6SN7GT. For example, the Tung-Sol black-glass round-plate 6F8G images a little better than the 6SN7GT version. Otherwise they seem pretty identical sounding. Since their internals are 100% identical, not sure what to attribute the better SS to.
But since TS BGRP 6F8G's go for $40/pair, and the 6SN7GT's go for $350/pair...well...you know... :)
