and have no issue with noise. It came with Reissue TS 6SL7's, which sounded just plain BAD. NOS Tung-Sol 6SU7GTY's and Sylvania VT231's were both MUCH, MUCH better. And no issue with noise (my phono stage is a Audio Electronics/Cary PH1 DJH).
Just my experience. Using the Re-issue TS 6SN7's produced equally disappointing results in my Singlepower headphone amp.
