Michael, how would you characterize the sound of the TS blackplates (all by themselves -- not in comparison to any other tube ;-) and in what amp you've (mostly) used them.
I have NO opinion about them at this point (except they're very expensive when you can find good ones ;-) but I could be interested in trying a quad in my MC275. Thanks,
