I doubt it was CBS. CBS/Hytron tubes were JAN-CHY. I am not sure what the first "C" stands for, but it was always there, and then the next 2 (or 3) letters indicate the maker:JAN-CRC = RCA
JAN-CKR = Ken-Rad
JAN-CTL = Tung-Sol
JAN-CHS = Sylvania
JAN-CRP = Raytheon
JAN-CHY = Hytron (CBS as well after they bought Hytron???)
JAN-CNU = National Union
JAN-CAHG = Chatham (when owned by Gerra, not Tung-Sol)I have seen a lot of GE tubes as just "JAN", and I have some labeled JAN-GE.
So the question is - what did "BSP" indicate.
