...not sure on the 550, but on the 650 you simply choose the sensitivity level for "True gm" on the tube chart, instead of the one for "good/bad". For some tubes like the 6SL7 the 650 will ONLY test true gm, not "good/bad".
For example, on the 650, the sensitivity level for a 6SN7 to test "good/bad" is 80, but for true GM it is 63.
