Greetings= Do they have a picture of the tubes on their website? I've got a pair of Penta Labs 2A3 that I bought from Angela Instruments in the late 90's that have "made in the USA" printed on them. Steve (at Angela) was very up front about these tubes, stating that in all likelyhood the tubes were made in China and relabled. I think that they cost less than $20.00 a piece when I bought them. I haven't been following the prices of Chineses "generic" 2A3s lately, but I'd be willing to bet that you can buy a pair for much less than $130.00. Hell, for $130.00, you can probably still buy a pair of used great testing USA made 2A3s. If you're going to buy Chinese, get them cheap (with the exception of the JJ/Teslas, about $250.00 a pair). I also beleive that you can still get a pair of the Sovtek 2A3s for about $120.00 a pair. These are much better sounding tubes than the generic Chinese. IMHO. Good Luck, regards, Paul
