Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

I have a nice Ming-Da amp that uses a 6E2 (supposedly as a rectifier tube as well as an indicator tube). I believe the Russian 6E2 is equivalent to the 6HU6/EM87, but I don't know for sure, and I'd like to before trying a 6HU6 in the amp.
Does anyone know if I am right?
Thanks!
