I got a quad a few days ago of the new Tung Sol 6L6GC big bottle tubes. Right away in my McIntosh MC240, they are the best power tubes I've tried. I've used RCA/GE 6L6GC's, Valve Art KT66's, Svetlana Flying C 6L6GC and RCA 7027A. The 7027A were the best before these for dynamics, but the top end was a bit ragged compared to the Svetlana's.

These new Tung Sols are dynamic, detailed and luxurious. Great soundstage and imaging. My amp has never sounded this completely put together. Highly recommended. They are big, on par with the KT66's.
