Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |
|
Well. I'm not really a newbie, but with all the tube gear I have owned over the years I never had to check or adjust the bias. Either the amps were auto bias or the tubes were in the preamp.
From what I have read so far, I can get by with a sears type dual probe multimeter and a small screw driver.(and thats what it looks like on the sides of the Melody amp). If that is not correct, please let me know.
Also, does anyone know the different settings that are suggested for these 2A3's on the Melody?
I've sent an email to Melody USA, but with the Holidays they haven't gotten back to me.
Thanks in advance for any guidance, be as detailed as possible.
And if anyone is wondering, Yes! it is a very, very, good integrated.
(at least to my ears)
Merry Cristmas, have a wonderful New Year!
