Hmmm...
I have some Svetlana Electron Devices 6L6GC's that were made in Dec 1997.
I bought them direct from the distributor in Huntsville, AL. They were factory matched quads (whatever that means). On the boxes there is a "winged C" logo, but on the tubes themselves there is gold lettering with a large S logo, SED written out, the production date of 9752 and no "C" logo.
This was before all this Sovtek/Svetlana name swapping, etc.
Can I therefore assume that there may be an exception to conventional wisdom as to what is "real" and what is not?
