Tre'- My 533A does nearly the exact same thing (same voltage drop)as yours. I even tried setting the filament at 3 vac and it read 2.5vac on my Fluke 179 DMM (with 45 tube in socket drawing current).Pressed the test button (P4 on Hickock) and the voltage dropped to 2.3vac.Glad that you brought this up, I hadn't noticed this anomoly before. Ps- finally getting around to installing the A-15s in the front end of PP 6B4G, I'll be calling /emailing you soon. Thanks wpod
