Valvo, like Telefunken were originally in the eastern bloc. If you look at the pictures of your tubes, they say "Made in Germany" as opposed to most Teles which say "Western Germany" on them. I've forgotten the precise facts (which I did read at one time) but there is some truth in what I'm saying. Google Valvo and Telefunken together, maybe that will get you to some better info ;-)
