fairly inexpensive to build and quite easy to implement in an MKIII. From what I remember, this type of circuit will block small amounts of DC voltage which is sometimes present on the AC line, from getting into your power transformer and causing it to run hotter than normal. MKIII power transformers seem to run quite hot to begin with, so just about anythng that would lower the temperature ,should lessen the wear and tear on the unit. Have fun. regards, wpod
