Jim, I take great interest in the opinions and conclusions of others, and enjoy comparing them with my own, so long as they all come from direct experience. That's why the comments from Michael Samra and John (Jareb) command my attention and consideration, while yours do not. What amazes me is, that of all people, you are so well positioned to make such comparisons for yourself. Yet from your posts, or the ones I've read, you have not done so.

The fact is, I've used and enjoyed a number of current manufacture tubes from S.E.D., Shuguang, JJ, and others. I had bad luck with the old Sovtek tubes, so the only experience I've had with the recent New Sensor
products were the EH KT88's that came w/ my new Mac, and two of those blew up immediately ;-)

So I make no apology for my other comments; I'm just trying to get some valid information, and I abhor hearsay! Your accusation that I'm biased, opinionated, or have preconceived notions is just silly -- or perhaps you feel you have something to defend? Offending me is not the best way ;-)
