Tube designation confusion ? VT27/30 or 30/VT67?

Greetings- There seems to be some conflicting information on certain websites concerning this particular tube. I see a VT27 listed as a 5 pin tube but it states that it is the military designation for the #30 tube which is a four pin. I have also seen the #30 tube referred to as a VT67, but on another site it say that a VT67 is a #30 with a "special base"? I've also seen a VT30 referred to as an 01A.Can someone please clear this mess up for me. Thanks verymuch, wpod
