I have new ceramic octal sockets in my ST-70 that seem awfully tight with a regular EL-34 so maybe the KT77's would be OK...?For what it's worth, here is what The Tubestore has to say:
My question:
Hello,
I'm just wondering if the small pin issue has been corrected on the JJ KT-77 tubes yet. I'd like to try a quad of them but don't want to have trouble with this. The Tubestore's reply:
Hi Marshall,
I believe it has, at least our current batch seem to be better. If you decide to order some you can simply remind us to check for a set with fatter pins before shipping your order. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to get them for you.
