What tubes are you using for 12BZ7. Best is Raytheon, GE and RCA. The EL84 are better with EI, or best with Mullard. A cheap tubeset to liven it up is EH EL34s. I was advised by a reviewer to order mine that way with the cap upgrade. Most dynamic tube I have used yet is Groove Tube E34LS.
