The Svet's are rumored to not be the best KT88's....at least to some experts who I value their opinioin. I haven't tried them.I've loved some Shunguang Chinese ones I've had, very nice tone, good bass, worth trying. I have ones that said "GEC Replica" on them.
JJ's aren't bad, but I like the Chinese better.
The EH is supposed to be one of the best currently available. They're on my list to try next.
If you can find some KT90's they're very nice....I have some Type II that are killer, well worth finding. Type III's can be problematic though, so make sure you get either type 1's or II's. Do a search if you need more info. Frequently discussed here.
