Let me preface and say its what I hear through my system and it to me defines what my biases are wrt my comments above YMMV and all that I should make that clear.

I listen mostly to all vinyl with a pretty good front end: Aesthetix IO w/ 2 power supplies and personally think the quads are very revealing in their range and I'll stick to my observations on my system others may disagree.

The grounding scheme you note in your instructions was precisely followed and the the feedback loop components were replaced by parts you supplied to me: no value changes.

I have had all sorts of equipment through the years including some big name French and American tube amps and pres and all sorts of (mostly) electrostatic speakers pass through. I think I have a perspective on whats available and whats possible and have developed my own tastes and biases.

You have always provided me with great products and information and I understand your sensitivity to comments on the Citation but hey its all like fine wine: to each his own and if I did not make that clear before I hope it is now. I like vintage and the Citation is a great amp. You have provided information to make it better and safer and I appreciate it. It's just not my fave on the Quads OK? No hard feelings I hope. Cheers.
