brought me to the following combination:
EL34's -- New production "Mullard" (New Sensor)
EL84's -- NOS Mullard or Telefunken
12BZ7's-- RCA 1968Nice improvement with each change from stock tubes. The 12BZ7's are a must. They are cheap too...
My amps now have a very clear, open sound with awesome midrange and solid bass. Hard to ask for more especially for the price.james
