There are three...

rectangular holes or slots from top to bottom in the thin outside verticle plate. What does the code on the base mean? Thank you for your help. After another 10 hours yesterday it now sounds like a great tube. It's as good as or a bit better than my tall bottle select Sylvania 6SN7W pair.
