Tubes Asylum Questions about tubes and gear that glows. FAQ |

I have a matched pair of Sylvania 6SN7GTs that came in military boxes that say "accepted 11-51" . On the base the code is 1,4,7, top to bottom. They are bottom getter tubes with flashing all the way around the glass and almost half way up. On one I can just see the support rods and they are copper. The micas are shiny, and on each top mica, both narrow sides have three points (serrations?)-- one for each corner and one in the middle. They do dound good with about 8 hours on them. Is this the same tube as the '52 ?
