I like the Raytheon VT 231s in the back sockets. So far, tall botle Sylvania 6SN7Ws are the best in the front sockets over VT-231 Sylvanias, RCAs, KenRads, round plate TungSols and Sylvania crome dome 6SN7WGTAs. I have '51 Sylvania 6SN7GTs on order.
The Raytheons are nice neutral tubes that let the tubes in the front sockets shine.
