Rollin, Rollin, Rollin, Keep Them Tubes Rollin, .....

Seems like the best thing to do. I posted about a great combo for my Cary 98 pre about a month ago. Last week I got tired of the CD player's Tel 802Ss that I thought were giving me too much detail. After rollin Mullards, then my beloved Amperex PQ 7316s in, I realized it was the pre.
Have been on Raytheon VT231s(front) and Sylvania 6SN7WGTs since, but received a pair of Tung-Sol 6SN7GT "round plates" from Greybeard today.I paired them with CBS Hytron 6SN7GTBs in back.If this doesn't produce nirvana, I'm just going to try my entire collection in the back sockets. News later at 11.
