I tried "A" frame Amperex 6922s, Mullard and the stock Sovteck. At the time I had no "halo" or "D" getter Amperex 6922 PQs. I have since seen the light. Please note my system preamp tube choice.It was converted to an "R" before I got my CCa Telfunkens too. They might have been a bit too dry compared to the Siemens.
