The only tubes that are reliable in these amplifers are the Russian Sovteks and Svetlanas. All other, especially domestic vrsions of 6AS7Gs and 6080s, will suffer from frequent "arc-over" failure. Take a look at http://www.otlamp.com/faq/6as7g/index.html for more information.
