If you get the urge to roll the 12BZ7s, the Raytheons seem to be a little more transparent if my V12R responds like your 6pks. I am currently trying a pair of 50s GE 12AY7s that sucked (bright) for three hours, but have been getting more intresting by the hour. Mike at KCA told me the Oriental guys are crazy about them, and with 10 hours or so, they may be right.
