I guess it should be fine. My information shows less capacitance than a 5ar4 and I noticed that they arc much easier. I like to be as easy as possible on a tube that most likely will not be equaled or surpassed by current production. I use hexfreds in front of the tube rectifier and a thermistor after. I get the sound of the tube rectifier and a nice long life.ja in very dark, nice and cool, Tucson, AZ
