Wow, thanks for sharing that information. VERY useful!!I'd be tempted to tack a 1 meg resistor across the 150K grid resistors just to see what happened. It can't really hurt. It makes a 90K combo, that's plenty low enough. If it stabilizes then replace the 150K with 100K, and see if you want to adjust the coupling cap value then, maybe add a .047 uf in parallel with the .1 uf. Certainly the 6SN7 driver/phase splitter can handle 100K!
Let us know if you try that. If you need grid resistors or coupling caps let me know, I'll send them free of charge. Also I guess it goes without saying to be sure your bias and balance pots, caps, etc. are all good. Be VERY sure of those items!! And be sure the tube sockets are gripping the tubes tightly, especially the grid pin, pin 6.
