Even IF the bass response becomes too extended, which as you point out is unlikely, the "problem" can be dealt with. "Steal" some of AVA's thunder and roll the bass off at the amp's I/P. A 1 pole high pass turn over freq. of approx. 17 Hz. should do nicely. BTW, rolling the bass off at the I/P can protect the O/P "iron" from core saturation.
