I'm not aware of any electronic differences. Sonically, I don't know yet. The EH is surprisingly very good overall, but with a slightly less evocative middle than an old-style 7591A. But I do have a quad of JJs on order and maybe in a few weeks can give an opinion there. I'd be surprised if the JJ was any worse than the EH. Perhaps an unfair generalization, but JJs tend to be a little more musical to my ear than Sovteks where I've compared them.The EHs do have many fitment issues.
Try the JJs and tell us what you think.
