Chris, I am very interested in the EH 6ca7 fatboys. Is your friend's rave about hifi or guitar/MI use? If hifi, what kind of music & speakers did he find these went well with? My system has a fairly mellow tone, eg Svet EL34 sound rich and full in it, not cool & dry.
