RE: KT88 to replace 6550

"Even with the relatively new Svets, one is on the edge of not biasing and the other three need the pots turned a long way up. I can't find a schematic or figures for the Premier 11, so I don't know if the voltages are a bit low, or the valves a bit screwed!

If anyone knows the 'proper' volts, please drop me a line so I can start eliminating possible problems, rather than spending fortunes on valves."

This can be determined without too much trouble. Here are the steps:
1. Measure resistance from ground to one 6550 cathode (amp off)
2. Turn the amp on, measure cathode voltage, grid voltage, and plate voltage for all tubes (DC).
