I agree 100%. That's kinda what I meant by being able to push a tube amp closer to its' rated wattage and still produce acceptable distortion levels and decent sound during dynamic music passages. You state it much more clearly, though. I guess brevity is not my forte... :0) Good to hear from you again, Par. Chris
