No, the 6BM8 and 6GW8 are different in pinout and ratings, though they're both hi-mu triode, power pentode.Look also for ELL80 and ECL86 which are the Euro numbers. My Knight 600 has data for 'em - I would think the TV-7 should...

Nolan Lee's data has the 6GW8, below. 6HU8 isn't there, but it's just two EL95 (6DL5) in one bottle...
