I have to agree with Eli and Chris here - get the Citation II with the Jim McShane mods (esp. PS) or a pair of Heath W5M monoblks with the KT66 OPT tubes and have somebody like Scott Franklin modify the PS in them. Like the Citation, the W5M OPT Trans from Altec-Peerless #16309, was one of the best ever produced for audio - out to 30KHz clean as a whistle! Also agree that the others mentioned are for the serious collector but cannot hold a candle sonically to the above!Regards,
