Yesterday I got my Eico HF-87 and it has 4 original Amperex EL34s in it with the dual rectangular halos.These are the tubes that the GT E34LS sounds identical to and the ones they were modeled after.I like them better than the xf2 mullards and they sound just like the GT E34ls in every dimension.Here is a photo of the amp.These arent the amperex in it now becuase im working on the amp.I figure I will put the amperxes on ebay and recover half the money I paid for the amp.Yes i had to buy this on ebay because I never was able to find one where I live.
