The stock Jolida tubes do have more bass than the Svetlanas. But the Svetlanas are much better with vocals and easier to listen to. You can really crank up the volume on the Svetlanas without the veiled sound of the stock Jolida tubes. I recommend buying them if you want an easy to find tube. I haven't played around with NOS EL34's but I cannot complain about the sound of Svetlana EL34s. The improvement is money well spent. When you want to rock out to some boomy electronic music pop in the stock Jolida tubes. For detailed vocals and focussed imaging pop in the Svets.
