Hi ,
I had very good luck with the Sophia Electric EL 34 with the upgraded el34 tubes.Short signal path and very natural sounding.
It drove my 88db tetra 305 kids with ease in a 18 x21 room.
It produces a strong 28 wpc and was quicker than the Cayin ta 30{ a nice amp}that I owned before.
Speak with Richard and he should be able to get you one close to your budget.
I liked it so much I stepped up to his kt 88 and couldn't be happier.
