I noticed almost all Eico Amps (HF-14,81,86..) have their EL84s anode voltage in excess of 300V. HF-14's is at 375V. From datasheets of various brands (mullard,rca) the limiting/max anode voltage is 250V or 300V. Did they design the amps overdriving the plate or am I not understanding something correctly ?
