So why not vintage ? Cost of entry will be much much less than a Jolida and the value will go way up after your restoration.If you want a basic 6bq5 amp: Fisher 30a, Eico HF-14, Heath UA-1/2 monoblocks; Eico HF-86, Heath AA-111, Fisher SA-100, Fisher SA-16 stereo amps are all EXCELLENT amps. After a sympathetic restoration, all will wipe the floor with the Jolida.
If you need an integrated: Eico HF-81, Fisher X-100, Scott 299a or 222. Again, after restoration, much better than the Jolida -and- will all of the above you get an excellent phono stage as well.
What are your reservations against Vintage ?
