FIRST- do not plug in the amps BEFORE haveing a qualified technition go through them to verify that they are in good working order.
Both are good amps. In a direct comparison, I suspect that you will find that the Eico sounds better.
If it were me, after verifying operating condition, I would sell the W-7 and then try to find another HF-35.
