I saw the additional transformer wires--but they are not on the schematic I have--so was unsure ot their purpose. Thanks--they seem to be the primary to use the unit at higher line voltage--I will check and advise. They show the expected higher resistance--so probably the high voltage primary tap. No mods made-just a rebuild with in tolerance parts, new bypass caps, and coupling caps that the customer is providing. I might add another filter stage in the B+, but will only do so if the better tubes do not correct the minor hum in the output. I tend to think this stuff should work as designed, and don't go rushing to modify things. The output transformers on these amps are really a sight to behold.
