... the HF-81's run quite hot (at least mine does)... you're probably better off leaving the cover off, unless it's an esthetic issue for you.You could either look for a parts unit with a cover (HF-81 or HF-32... the latter might even be bigger but could be cut down). Good hardware stores ought to have some perforated metal sheet that could be bent and painted into a reasonable facsimilie (this is what EICO did originally, I would think).
You could also try Small Parts, Inc. for sheet material of this ilk.
