I have tried the KT90in my SLI 80. I found it to be very flat and uninvolving. I tried the bias adjustments at 75, then tried 85, and 95. All with the same results. The same tubes sounded great in my ARC amp, very dynamic. I started out with the stock Svet 6550, and also used the Svet kt 88. I now have the EH 6550. I am very happy with this tube.
I called Cary about bias adjustments, and they told me I could go up to 100. But do not go on my word. Call Cary just to confirm.
