I had an Audio Electronic Supply AE-25 Superamp, DJH version, which runs the tubes at 495 plate volts in triode. The recommended bias setting was 50 mA per tube. I tried them as high as 60 mA per tube, but I think others here have tried as high as 75 mA at 500 plate volts. IMO it didn't make much difference in sonics, at least in my rig. These tubes sounded good to me, with detailed, extended bass, and good midrange and treble detail, but they were a little too lean-sounding for my tastes, and dimensionality was found wanting.
